It was a little more expensive than the one I originally planned to buy, but I decided that since I am a gadget freak, I should have a really cool one. Many years ago, I purchased antivirus software and have kept it up online ever since. To my chagrin, I could not transfer the software from one computer and had to go online and do the antivirus download all over again. It really was not that hard and once I had set it up, it worked very well and I knew my computer would be virus free. It had been backing up my files all this time so I thought it would be easy to just transfer everything from the backup. The big problem came when I had to switch from Vista to Windows 7. I could not imagine there would be any problem in the transfer of all of the data, but somehow I managed to lose everything in the changeover. Again the antivirus software came in handy since it still had all of my files backed up and after a little work, I managed to reclaim everything. I would never be without antivirus software.
