antivirus softwareI have been lazy about my antivirus software and need to download a new version. Right now I am unprotected, and it is a scary thing. The antivirus software I had expired, and I need to start looking around for it so I can get my computer protected again. I got a virus once and it was a big problem. Since I am online quite a bit, and it would be easy to attack my computer and cause all sorts of havoc. I had to get someone to come to my home to fix my computer. It would have been far less expensive for me to get some decent antivirus software in the first place and run it on a routine basis than let the software lapse. Well, that's hindsight for you.

I can download the software so I should probably get to it this afternoon before I get another attack. I use a separate computer that does have antivirus software on it for my finances. My friend tipped me off to that. She said to get a cheap computer to use exclusively for paying bills and checking balances for my investment accounts. It made sense to me. We keep that computer off the Internet until we need to deal with our finances.
